The second half of this song and the ending solo were originally the ending to a Dethtruck song called Coffin Nail. It was the first solo I wrote in my current style, but it sadly never got recorded before we disbanded. With Jacob's permission, I used that second half for this song and offered for him to write the lyrics and record vocals.

In the temple of the blind idiot - he floats skinless in a prysm encased in stone - forever in orbit with the second moon of mars - beings from other planets bring sacrificial young so that he may feed on them in exchange to restore their wisdom of the old spells - the knowledge that ultimate technology is a gateway to primordial life - a door leading back to the womb. Time and time again, death becomes all too easy - a perfect circle held together by five stars. All humanity unknowingly lives and dies and is born again to die again trapped in the pentagram.
